A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering!

If you're looking for a unique dining experience off the beaten path, this new spot downtown is a must-try! It's a cozy place that seats only 12 people, which creates a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. The service was superb—it's actually pretty cool to sit next to strangers and strike up a conversation.

The food was outstanding! We tried the bread with carrot butter (a delightful surprise), the duck, the fish, and capped it all off with dessert. Everything was fantastic. They also have an incredible wine selection, and Hanna was so helpful in guiding us to the perfect pairings for our meal.

They host small events like wine tastings, which I’m excited to try next time. We’ll certainly be back! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

Such a cute little place. We sat at the bar and got to enjoy speaking with the chef and staff. The wine choices were fantastic. Menu is smaller but great choices. We had the board, snapper, duck and spatzel. We didn’t try the dessert but it looked amazing. #sunshinereviews

Where you might go for an intimate celebration or casual dinner knowing your meal will surprise you with new dishes(spaetzle), new flavors (papaya gazpacho), delightful light sauces(oyster mushrooms), perfectly seared duck breast and finally the lime in the coconut which elevates meringue and lemon curd to a whole new level.

I’ve been able to experience fine dining all over the world, and come from a place that culinary experiences are truly authentic.
For me, the Tampa Bay area lacks this.

Thankfully it is safe to say, the chefs and owner at this cozy establishment gave much attention to detail and carefully curates their menu! I love that their menu also changes often. I can’t wait to come again!

My wife and I kept talking about how we needed to go to this little restaurant at some point and she finally decided to make a reservation; which was a surprise to me.
We walked over and were warmly welcome as soon as we opened the door. This quaint place has a table for 6 people and a bar that can sit also 6 people at the time.
Our reservation was at the end of the bar so we can admire the Chef meticulously preparing every single dish that she has to serve.
The craft of her work was incredible and she was doing all of them with a smile as she is so proud of her incredible craft!
We had the red pepper roasted soup, the pork shoulder that comes with potatoe salad and the gnocchi with a red sauce and pistachios and nuts. To finish we endulge ourselves with a magnificent dessert made out of Italian chocolate.
Our meal was simply out of this world and every dish had a mixed of flavors that literally had your mouth going on different directions and the wine made the back of your throat tingle; like our great server described one of the wines LOL

We are going to be back pretty soon to enjoy more deliciousness from this almighty restaurante; you can tell the passion on all of them!

Bin6south definitely has high potential, but there’s improvement to be had on the food side. For the price, I was expecting flawless execution on all dishes. The Salmon Crudo and cookie dessert were the two best dishes by far.

All 3 entrees were served either cold or luke warm. The pasta needed to be drained a bit more as well, there was quite a bit of water residue. The flavors were there, the dishes just felt a bit incomplete.

The atmosphere was awesome and Danielle was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Will certainly be back to give them another shot.

Edit 11/3 - Went back and a different chef was preparing the food. The food was executed perfectly, can’t wait to go back!

Reservation’s recommended limited seating at small bar and 1 communal table. Sat at the bar, we had the Bin Board, Roasted Mushroom Gigante Bean & Shrimp Escabeche with several glasses of wine. Entree’s were quite flavorful but smaller portion than expected, added the Bin Board for more substance, it was just ok. Very nice wine selection as well as Bottle retail. Staff very helpful. Overall communal vibe, flavorful food but would want a bit more on the plate, wines a couple $ higher by the glass than used to paying. On line menu listed as Summer 2023. Accessible restrooms.
