What a great post! Yesterday was my first time visiting and I felt welcomed and everybody was very nice period a friend of mine who is a member invited me and it was really lovely. I knew a couple of people which was a bonus! Highly recommend for those who are seeking community.

This is a great spot and hosts a monthly cars and coffee. It's right by downtown Dunedin so can easily make a nice day out of a trip, even if you live in Tampa and drive over for the car meet. Can fit like 30 cars or so. Inside is nice as well - a bar, tables, bathrooms, etc

Dropped in and the bartender was very nice and this was a great place to visit during a short stay in the area, I'd happily come back.

You don’t know what you’re gonna get when you enter this VFW! There are 2 bartenders there who will make you want to turn around and never return, because the “white haired lady”, as mentioned in another review, and the male manager/bartender are simply awful to deal with! But there are other staff members and bartenders who range from “ok” to very nice. The drinks are decent and are well-priced, and the music is not too loud, so we keep going back, and just deal with the attitude.

Your pantry box is there for people in need and not to be judged, Lady with the white hair and bad attitude wanted to come out and say "did you get enough?" When all we grabbed was a couple of cans and drinks, Who is she to be judging us? Don't come here if you don't want to be judged for taking food out of a pantry box.

As an Auxiliary member at American Legion Post 238, I walked in yesterday and was greeted by Vinny the Canteen Mgr.
I was so impressed with his friendly greeting and service. As the area filled up, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Sherry Sat next to my friend and I and we enjoyed her company.
The place was very clean.
We'll be back for the fish fry tonight and Soul Fish.
