A nice, spacious and modern hall. Ok food, but god-awful coffee. Too much chatter going on from staff and other players during link-up and board games which makes it very easy to miss numbers as you can't hear properly for the noise level, and staff do nothing to encourage hush during these games. Poor money and very hard to get a win unless you pay big bucks for electric main events insteadof the paper books. Came here for years and finally got a win, £25 split with another player from a £50 house on a board. I was very lucky I even managed to as I couldn't hear for everyone talking loudly, I actually thought I heard the wrong number until I looked at the screen. Just no consideration for other players. One if the bingo callers isn't clear and almost whispers thetend of his words, leaving you to wonder if that was fourty or fourteen that he just called. Bearing in mind, ImI 26 and not deaf and I struggle to understand him, and my Gran was the same way for the years she went here - which was since before I was born, every Saturday with my mum.

Went to Mecca in Hamilton for the first time 2 weeks ago, won £5 my first game and it was peaceful, fairly priced and people were respectfully quiet during link up games. Staff gave good banter and called clearly.

Buzz-Gala is a good hall, but has so many improvements to be made.
